Forrest's EOD Graduation Weekend

Congratulations Forrest!!! After 10 months of rigorous training, Forrest has finally graduated from EOD School!! All his long and stressful days have paid off and now he is officially an EOD Technician!

We had a wonderful long celebration weekend with friends and family! Forrest's parents and Christine's best friend came down from Alabama. His brother, Frazier, and family flew from Washington. His best friend, Ethan, flew in from Virginia and then one of my best friends, Melissa, drove from Georgia. Everyone came in on Thursday, just in time for his graduation on Friday! Forrest's parents rented a big beach house for everyone to stay in, which was such a great idea and we all had so much fun staying in one place!

Graduation morning came before we knew it and everyone in the house was hustling to get ready and over to the ceremony in time! We were really nervous about the weather because it was suppose to be super overcast and rainy but thankfully God opened the skies with sunshine! The pictures all pretty much speak for themselves so I will let you enjoy them all! Oh and the same day of the ceremony was our 5 year anniversary :)!! So blessed!

We had so much fun over the long weekend and made some great memories, ate awesome beach food and even got a little sunburned! Forrest has a huge weight off his shoulders now that his training is over and he's getting really excited to start up his new job! Here are some pictures of the rest of our long relaxing weekend.

Thank you everyone, for being so supportive of Forrest during these last 10 months! All your love and encouragement has given him strength to finish the course.

The Army movers packed us up the Monday and Tuesday before graduation and our stuff has already arrived to Louisiana. Moving is always bittersweet. We met amazing friends and a great church and are so thankful to now have them in our lives but we are also so excited to start this new EOD journey in Louisiana! We are hoping to be in LA by the middle of April and will be able to move into our new home by the 1st of May! We can't wait to get there and get settled in and into a routine. But until then we are going to enjoy Forrest's leave, visiting with family and spending time with our friends in Orlando!

We love you all and thank you again for all your love and support during our time in Florida!
